The adjustable dog collar is a great addition as a boy dog collar or girl dog collar. Using this collar for dog tags is also fantastic. I use a strong welded d-ring to attach dog tags and leashes too. April’s dog collars are great to give as a handmade gift for any dog lover, dog mom, dog dad, family & friends.

★ All collars come standard with a black buckle unless a metal buckle upgrade is purchased with the collar.

★ My collars are handmade upon orders received. I use strong quick release buckles. I do not sell cat/kitten collars for this reason.

APRIL’S COLLAR LENGTHS: THIS IS FOR MY GENERAL LISTING SIZES WHICH MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR EACH LISTING. The range below is when the collar is adjusted shorter and then fully extended when laying the collar flat and measuring from end to end of buckles.

• M – 12 ½”-19”
• L – 13"-20”
• XL – 15"-23”
• XXL – 20"-30”

HOW TO MEASURE:
ALL COLLAR’S ARE MADE AND MEASURED LAYING FLAT. MEASURED FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER END OF THE BUCKLES. WHEN ORDERING ADD 2” TO THE ACTUAL NECK SIZE TO GET THE BEST FIT. COLLAR’S LOSE ROUGHLY 1 ½” - 2” WHEN THE BUCKLE IS CLOSED. IF ORDERING FOR A 19” NECK, YOU WOULD ORDER AN XL @ 23” (WHICH MEASURES @ 21 ½”)

OPTION 1: Measure your dog’s neck where the collar would be & add 2” to that number. This is the correct number to choose from in my chart.

OPTION 2: Measure the existing collar: Lay flat. Measure from each of the buckles to the other end of the buckle (the entire length of the collar). This would be the number to pick when choosing a size.

POLYESTER WEBBING:
• Please understand that Polyester is not scratch proof, rough housing proof, or dirt resistant. Dogs scratch collars and this may ruin the design or cause snags in the webbing. I do not offer a replacement, warranty, or refund if this happens. My shop is not at fault for a dog being a dog. I do not offer free replacements unless there is a visual defect upon delivery. If this were to happen, pictures would need to be received by you within the day of delivery. I will compare the finished item photos I have taken to the photos you have sent me.

SALT WATER-POOLS-LAKES:
• Please note these are fashionable dog collars. Traditional collars are not for training & should never be used for excessive pulling. My collars are not designed to be in salt water, pools, lakes or submerged in water as the hardware may rust. Salt water, sun, washing the collar & chlorine will fade the webbing.
